The Southern Province Development Authority is an institution established under the Southern Province Development Authority Statute No. 01 of 1995 of the Southern Provincial Council.
It was established to promote small, medium, and large-scale industries, agriculture, animal husbandry, and related businesses in the Southern Province, as well as to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
